The model 111 Lampifier microphone is a unidirectional super-cardioid dynamic microphone for professional sound reinforcement or recording. In the handle, there is a programmable, phantom-powered, sound-enhancing processor. Model 111 microphones are manufactured the same. Before shipping, a standard program is put into the processor to set up the microphone for a given application. The processor self-adjusts to the incoming sound making program adjustments by the user generally unnecessary. 5. Extreme Vocal Lampifier Microphone Model 111

Vocalists, are you tired of getting buried by the band? Not enough volume from an anemic PA-especially at practice? This Lampifier^® Model 111 Extreme Vocal Mic will keep you on top of the mix. Go from a soft, heart-felt verse to a screaming, full-throttle chorus. Low intensity passages will sound full bodied. High intensity moments deliver without excessive peaking. At about the same price as any ordinary high-quality vocal mic, the Lampifier Extreme Vocal delivers the mic along with a superb vocal compressor, gate, and EQ. Setup is a snap! Arrive at the gig and just plug in your mic. The model 111 Extreme Vocal is the world's best performing "loud environment" vocal mic that has it's own built-in sound processor.

The Extreme Vocal program is for higher output vocalists (strong singers and/or loud shouting, screaming) so the compression threshold has been increased, meaning that it takes a hotter input signal to trigger strong compression. Also the gate threshold has been raised for greater rejection of background noise. The gate closes more quickly to help reduce feedback. Overall, this controls feedback more aggressively, but the trade-off here is that lower level sound input (a whisper for example) may not open the gate at all. Not suitable for singing soft ballads!
